Camping at Gear Farm.
Organic Gear Farm campsite. The farm slopes down to the beautiful Helford River - off Falmouth Bay. The camping field is one and a half acres of level mown grass overlooking the Helford River. Farm trail leads to the river, boats for hire at Helford and St. Anthony to explore Frenchman's Creek and points along the river.
New service - Helford River Boats ferry to National Trust gardens on north side of river and St Mawes ferry shuttle to Falmouth. St Mawes is less than 20 minutes - starts at Helford Village 4 miles away

Directions from Helston - A3083. After 2 miles at roundabout take the first exit, the B3293. At next roundabout take second exit to Mawgan. Gear Farm in 2 miles at top of long hill after second bridge.
